We all look at those Equestrian lifestyle magazines, websites and IG accounts and daydream about what we could do with our homes if we just had the money. The biggest thing I notice about these images…is the lack of clutter…or the choice of deliberate placement. There’s also typically one large image on the wall (be it a photograph or a painting). It’s also often about the careful mixing of old and new that can be particularly stunning. Creating that in your home is a level of dedication and awareness you have to learn…however finding these precious objects and high impact images to add to your home or office space can be as inexpensive or expensive as you like. Why spend $100 on a generic piece of art from World Market or Hobby Lobby or some sort place when you can get a more upscale and customized look for similar prices elsewhere? It does take a bit more searching, but it’s worth the effort. The goal is to make it look like you have a curated collection you’ve been working on for years…vs just putting up whatever home decor people are telling you to buy now.
