I recently discovered the U.S. Polo Assn. clothing brand…and I don’t know where I’ve been that I never saw it before! The brand is officially sanctioned by the US Polo Association (so it’s kinda like if USDF decided to start a clothing company selling the dressage lifestyle in order to help popularize and monetarily support the organization) which is extremely interesting to me. Lol. I’d love that! Lets do it! Anyways, this brand…clearly is selling a lifestyle look and I’m here for it. The style brings me back to the late 90’s early 2000’s when I was in school and all the preppy kids were wearing this kind of thing. I didn’t…but as an adult I now appreciate some of the style. Namely the adorable cable knit v-neck I bought from them. I love cable knit. I love v-neck. I love reasonably priced clothing. Done.
For the price I paid, I was a little concerned about the quality of the sweater I was getting to be honest. However when it arrived was was happy. It’s certainly not Nordstrom level quality or anything…but it’s certainly not bad quality. The fabric is soft and cozy, the sewing is good, the v-neck fit is flattering, and the little ribbon detail in the inside of the neck is a nice touch. All those things and I’m supporting a horse organization while shopping? Great! I also bought a pair of work out leggings for..$15…and they’re a deal for $15 I think and I’m going to pick up another pair or two in a different color.
Back to the sweater! I picked up the pale pink and I ended up loving the color. The material is thinner for a sweater, so it’s not too hot as the day warms up but it’s cozy enough to give me those fall vibes now that the temps have dropped. It has a cute polo horse embroidery logo in contrast stitching that is a little nod to the horses we all love…which I’m always into. It’s easy to care for being synthetic material and washes well (line dried). All in all, I really love this sweater and think it’s a bargan! I personally am planning on doing some more shopping with U.S. Polo Assn. for both myself and my husband as the classic sportsware styles are great and the prices are reasonable. They have polo shirts, classic button ups, jackets, loungeware and even jeans. Looking forward to trying out more from this brand!
