Draper Therapies utilizes a new therapeutic method called Celliant in their products. Celliant® is a proprietary fiber loaded with a potent mix of thermo-reactive minerals. It recycles and converts radiant body heat into infrared energy which gives the body a measurable boost.
Axel, our senior review team member facilitated the majority of use, but we also used the sheet for our younger working dogs as well after a long day on the ranch!
With Axel I noticed about an hour after application of the coat, he would relax and was usually found stretched out on the couch or floor. He has several old injuries and age related aches and pains that are managed holistically and medically. This coat was a welcome addition to his normal regimen!
The coat is made of a durable mesh textile, with piping lining the edges. I was impressed with the durability, and the washability of the fabric. A quick wipe with some warm water on a rag was all it took!
The belly closure was convenient with Velcro closures on each side. The adjustability is minimal on each side, there is approximately an inch of adjustability on each side. The chest closure is a single nylon strap with a buckle. It is well made, but for a wide chested dog it does not provide a full “wrap” in the front.
I love the versatility of this sheet, it can be worn by itself in the summer months, or under an existing sheet or blanket in the winter. I never felt that his body temperature was compromised wearing this sheet even in the warm weather, which is very nice for all year use!
