I bought a pair of Noble Outfitters Perfect Fit Gloves back almost two summers ago at Horse Expo in Sacramento. I bought these not because I needed gloves, but because I LOVED the beautiful mulberry purple color. After almost two years, I owe these fantastic gloves a review!
Two years in and two years strong, these gloves have held up well to almost daily wear (except in Dec-Feb when I wear winter gloves). Not one hole can be found and the Velcro is still just perfect. There’s a little piling happening on my ring fingers, but that’s to be expected with more movement there on the reins. The synthetic suede palm is reinforced in all the right places and really helps to keep a grip on the reins and whip. The top of the glove is made of a very breathable, thin material to help keep you cool on warm days. These fit perfectly (you would expect that from a glove called “Perfect Fit”) and the Velcro wrist band makes these feel almost custom. Last year I bought a second pair because I thought the floral pattern was too pretty to turn down.
I wash these in the washing machine (and dry them) and I’ve had no ill effects from that. These gloves are incredibly durable, cute and ride well. I like them better than my show gloves. I have now dropped my whip during a test at a show TWICE in my other gloves (horribly embarrassing)…but I’ve never dropped a whip wearing these.
They are also touchscreen friendly, but I tend to struggle to use my phone with these on (though that’s probably a personal problem).
