And...we've made the decision to bump up to PSG...starting next month!

I reviewed @urgobeauty a few years ago to good results...however my main issue that kept the product from being top tier was the packaging.

2024 comes around and they change to a tube with doefoot and I'm all about it! I reworked the review a bit and changed the review up to an excellent 9.7/10 based on this update. I do highly recommend the tints now in the new packaging!

Ever seen one of these Equibands and thought what kind of stupid expensive gimmick is that? Me too. For years.

I've been using one for a while though and I have to admit...while overpriced and the pad sucks (sorry...but it sucks)...it does work! It's not just a gimmick. Full review on the website now.

Tried these new to me hair ties from @riptiehair a

Tried these new to me hair ties from @riptiehair and they are so cool! They are super easy to put in and keep my long thick hair from flying around in my face and getting knotted while I am riding (or swimming...or riding with my windows down...). So much easier than taking the time to braid (at least for my fumbly fingers). Even better...they come out easy and don't leave me with a pony tail dent (which my wavy hair LOVES to do) or awkward braid waves. Derby even loves them when she goes swimming. If you have long hair, I think you will enjoy them.

This shirt may not have gotten the perfect review...but it's perfectly gorgeous! Style-wise it's my favorite from @maybabesequestrian yet! The color, the neckline/shoulder detail, the silky fabric...SO good. Hoping to see further iterations of this one down the line from her!

Oh and the price (especially with my coupon code DECIDEDLYEQUESTRIAN) is fantastic. 😉

Hello! I'm excited to meet you!

It's been a bit since I updated my bio, so here's a bit about me to introduce myself if you're new around here!

I'm an AA dressage rider training and riding this big guy (Jax) right here. I've earned my USDF Bronze and Freestyle Bronze and half of my Silver. We've been struggling with lead changes for 3 years...I know some of you can feel my pain.

I worked in TB aftercare for a decade, but have since moved on to a less stressful job, but still play around in that industry in quieter rolls. I am currently an artist, do some web development, photography, work with a number of non profits, am on the board of my local California Dressage Society Chapter, and I have a little girl! Oh and I wrote a book I'm working to get published. I may look simi put together on Instagram, but I promise you...I'm a mess most of the time.

10 years ago I started this blog to get me writing and it has turned into a whole beast of its own. I love meeting new people and companies as we continue to grow and have met some amazing friends through this platform I can't imagine my life without.

I post regular product reviews as well as occasional DYIs, profiles and blogs. DE has other writers around the country and we're happy to bring on new collaborations, so reach out if you're interested.
