I’ve reviewed the socks from Dreamers & Schemers before (and they’re a favorite brand of mine), but thought it was worth bringing this particular pair to your attention as I think it’s one of the biggest hurdles we have to overcome as a sport (and a society)! The Dreamers & Schemers #weridetogether Knit Boot Socks is a sock to benefit WeRideTogether’s mission to help raise awareness for sexual misconduct prevention in sport. Proceeds from the sock sales will benefit the non-profit’s mission to eliminate sexual misconduct in our sport.
As you might remember from previous reviews…I love these socks (and especially love the knit ones). They’re super soft and comfortable, fit well, hold up nicely and are super cute. The knit ones will fit a rider range of calf sizes (yay), but don’t get too hot when it’s summer. I’m absolutely thrilled to have another pair, and to have a pair that supports an important cause is even better. 
Have you heard about WeRideTogether yet? They believe (and so do I) that sport should be the safest and healthiest place for children to grow and flourish and that every individual has the right to compete without fear of sexual abuse. They are committed to creating the radical change needed to fulfill that vision by addressing sexual misconduct at the root of the problem: by advocating for prevention education and awareness, by creating a safe place for survivors to find resources and share their voices; and by eliminating the stigma around these necessary conversations.
I’m happy to wear these socks as a badge of my belief and support for this important cause. But socks are one thing…we can always do more.
