Based on the spoilers, there was no way I was skipping this time. This quarter had a couple of stand out super star items as well as some very useful items. It’s always good when the box includes things you would actually buy retail. The Bettina Norton designed box is beautiful and the box will be kept and reused! The balance of this box leaned heavily home this month, so if that isn’t your thing this box might not be your favorite curation, but it was quite possibly my favorite curation yet! All three home items were awesome. There were also two horse items (with some horse samples). The gift bags and the tote bag I kinda through in the misc. category and they help balance the box out a tad. It will be interesting to see how my use of these items plays out and if it ends up being my top favorite box over last winter’s…and this fall.
Individual Item Thoughts
Equestrian Tea Kettle – The showstopper. Not everyone drinks tea of course…but I do…so I’ll use this. Not only is it beautiful and matches my copper decor in my kitchen…but it’s actually usable with a heat resistant handle and a tea strainer! The box price is worth this alone. Everything else is bonus!
Hoof Ice by Equifit – Super interested in this product. I don’t ice feet a lot, but it’s always a super idea to have something like this or an ice boot in your kit for emergencies. These will be going in my first aid kit. Love them!
Mare Modern Goods Holiday Gift Bags – These are adorable and I’ll be using them of course right away! Great timing on these and very cute. Just wish it’d been maybe a couple more bags!
Limber Up Gel Back on Track – I have tried a few of these Limber Up products and so far I like them all. I’m happy to get these and will use them. They’re nice sizes for travel to take to shows. Not super exciting, but useful.
My Peace Tote by Elise Butera – Envirosax – I think this one’s retail value is inflated…by a lot. Must be a mistake! The bags directly from Envirosax are only $11 each…and the big kits with 5 bags included in another pouch are $50. Is this bag worth $45? Absolutely not. $11, yes. The design is okay, not particularly my favorite color or artwork style. I will likely gift this away. My only meh item in the bag this quarter.
Equestrian Catch All by Bettina Norton – I’m sure someone doesn’t like this or isn’t’ keeping it…maybe…somewhere. But man…I LOVE THIS. It’s so beautiful. It’s a great size for jewelry or keys or some coins and your wallet. Or just display it. It’s very pretty. Quality is good and it comes in a nice box. I would absolutely buy this…and the box is basically worth it for this alone.
Pony Paper Studio Paperclips – These are adorable. I’m excited to add them to my office situation! Very cute, seems like they’ll be usable. I would probably buy these if I saw them in a shop…so good item! Very fun.
The value of this box is super, even eliminating the problem over-valuation (imo) of the My Peace tote. Take off the mark up on that one and you’re still at $200. And I think everything else was priced fairly. And the coupons this month are going to add a lot of value for some people as well. I might even use one this time (or two). I would have bought four of these items for sure at full retail and a couple of them I might not have because I don’t have an urgent use or need, but they’re welcome! I really loved this curation and I’m looking forward to cozying up with a cup of tea from my new tea kettle!
