Lesson day in full @maybabesequestrian today (super comfortable). Jax was very sleepy in the cross ties today but woke up nicely under saddle to show some of the things we have been working on lately (walk pirouettes smaller and consistent, canter pirouette canter and turns that are forward active and relaxed) and some things I need to keep working on (half pass counter change of hand I need to set up differently and those pesky freaking lead changes). It has been two plus years on those and it is still a crapshoot if the change will happen when I ask or not. New exercises to try. Keep on keeping on!
