See Ya!

See Ya Later 2020!

Hi there!  I wanted to give you a quick THANK YOU for sticking with us in 2020.  It’s been a rough one for all of us I know.  It was a harder year for creating content for a number of reasons, but I appreciate you staying around and reading anyways!  This is our last post for 2020 (I need a little break)!

I won’t harp on about how 2020 was for me other than to say I literally stood still.  In many aspects of my life, it’s like 2020 never happened.  The moment we locked down, I just gave up on a lot of things I was working on.  The only thing that reminds me how much time is passed is how big Derby has gotten.   It’s been a weird year.

I know stagnation happened to a lot of you too.  And I know some of you are coming out of 2020 worse than you went in (and I’m sorry for that).   We always have next year and I know it is going to be a better one.

I’m thankful for the year that I did have and all the good things that happened in it.  There were plenty of silver linings to be found.  However I miss seeing friends and family and I can’t wait for life to “return to normal.”  Mainly I just want to be able to hug people again.  Who else misses hugging?  Anyways…

Onwards and upwards to 2020.  We’re going to be doing a series of guest posts with StreamhorseTV (that I will cross post here) on goal setting starting in January, so hopefully that can help jump start us to a more amazing year next year.   We are also working on more reviews, DIY projects and spotlight articles to bring you more entertainment and information for 2021.

Now it’s your turn.  What do you want to see from Decidedly Equestrian in 2020?

  • Any brands you want reviewed?
  • Any artist friends you think deserve an interview?
  • Interested in profiles on regular Adult Ammys that never get featured in those glossy Equestrian magazines?
  • Do you want us to take some of our designs from C4 and turn them into stickers, tote bags, t-shirts, dinner plates, etc?
  • How about a Decidedly Equestrian Awards with ribbons for people to win different “categories” for their submissions.

I’m feeling the need to mix it up and do something a little different for 2021.  I would love to know what Decidedly Equestrian can do to help make your 2021 more interesting!  Don’t hesitate to email me ([email protected]).  I’m always happy to hear from you!

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
