The first three books will help you improve your horse’s general well being!  I love all three of these and use tips and methods from each on a daily basis to keep Spice happy.   World Class Grooming speaks for itself…learn the tricks from the pros.  The two body-work books teach you two different methods of releasing and suppling your horse from the ground.  Not only does it make your horse feel good, but these exercises help build your bond with your horse.

The next two books are great “must-have” classic theory books.  While Centered Riding is quite a bit easier of a read, True Unity is dense and packed full of really good information…but it doesn’t read easily.  Break out your highlighter and notebook and read this one actively to get the most out of it.

The last three books I love for improving you!  The first helps you get fit (and supple) enough to ride your horse to your best ability.  I have used these exercises (and especially the stretching routine) after every single riding break on injury to ensure I’m doing my best to stay physically capable.  It’s an easy read with a LOT of illustrations and photos to accompany the text to help you understand what is going on.  The last two books are more about hacking your brain to get the most out of your riding/training and facing stress and fear in positive ways.  Both of these are excellent, full of helpful tips and easy to read!
