If you’re not watching yet…

Horse racing is having a resurgence of talent this year.  In the last couple of decades it has been standard for many of the top 3 year olds to retire and we’ve been cursed with plenty of forced retirements due to colic or injuries or other such.

2015 is a year to remember.  The following horses have raced or plan to race in 2015.  Head to your favorite racing news site (Bloodhorse.com is ours) and see when some of your favorites are going to race.  California Chrome is shipping halfway across the world to Dubai for the Dubai World Cup (the richest race in the world) happening on March 28th.  Shared Belief is trying to decide which part of the country he wants to dominate next.   Twilight Eclipse is wondering if he’ll ever get the best of his rival Main Sequence.  Wise Dan is wondering if he’ll make it back to the track at all, but hoping to put on a show for all of us if he does.  Palace Malice is hoping to beat everyone and get an Eclipse Award.  Enjoy the glut of talent we will see run in 2015!  It could be the best year of racing in several decades.

And oversees we have Ron The Greek, Candy Boy and Toast of New York to keep track of (not to mention the very talented Euro group).

Beholder (2013 Champion 3 Year Old Filly, 2012 Champion 2 Year Old Filly)
Stephanie’s Kitten (Good Turf Filly)
Probably missing some here…but as weak as the older mares were with the loss of Princess of Sylmar and Close Hatches last year…and as week as the 3 Year Olds were against Untapable…these three are the ones to watch!
