The Super Seamless Shirt from Goode Rider is the feature of my latest review. This sporty/casual top has a shiny, reflective zipper for a boost of style and viability. It looksl ike something you would buy at a high end athletic/yoga apparel store, not a tack shop….which is a breath of fresh air. It is clearly built with sport in mind with a big consideration for body flattering. My husband isn’t the greatest photographer in the world, so the photo of me in it does the shirt no justice. It’s super cute and very flattering (thank you ruching!) and it pairs perfectly with the Goode Rider Bodysculpting Seamless Tights I reviewed previously!
One of my favorite features are the gripper dots on the inside hem. They help keep the long shirt in place so it doesn’t ride up. This is a feature commonly found on cycling clothing, and it’s awesome to find it on an equestrian clothing item! Genius. I also appreciate how long this shirt is (you can wear it longer like a tunic, or shorter like a standard shirt) and how long the sleeves are as well (I always have problems with sleeves being too short). I love the thumb-holes in the sleeves too. The little details on Goode Rider clothing always steps them up to the top of the market in my opinion.
The seamless design makes the shirt super comfortable and there’s no scratchy spots or chafing because the shirt is seamless. The synthetic fabric is moisture-wicking and has anti-bacterial odor control technology so that you smell less while you’re working hard. It’s a perfect top for riding and is extremely comfortable. Theoretically you should be able to wear it multiple times without doing laundry, but I always wash it between wears. For some reason I have no problem wearing dirty pants, but I cannot abide a dirty top. I’m a weirdo, I know. It doesn’t’ carry a smell the same way my other shirts do however, so the anti-bacterial odor control clearly works.
The fabric blocks the sun as well, but can be a bit too hot for 85+ degree weather in the longer sleeve version. It is however perfect in Spring, Fall and Winter as well as on cool mornings and evenings here in the Bay Area. This style also comes in a short sleeve version and a tank version if you get too hot in the long sleeve version or you just want to get a bit more sun.
The Super Seamless Shirt from Goode Rider is one of my favorite shirts for riding. It’s one of those that, once it’s on, you really don’t notice that it’s there at all. Nothing is better than that when you’re out riding your horse (or multiple horses), teaching, moving hay or headed to a show.
